Eames is the Director of Client Accounting Services (CAS) at Dark Horse CPAs, a fully virtual, tech-forward firm serving clients across the U.S. K.C. leads CAS strategy, operations, and technology focused on building scalable, advisory-driven services beyond traditional bookkeeping. At Dark Horse CPAs, she helps design the systems, workflows, and internal controls that enable a distributed team to deliver high-quality, consistent service. She evaluates and implements tools across the firm’s tech stack while building repeatable playbooks to allow CAS teams to scale without sacrificing insight or client impact. She is passionate about redefining what CAS can be. Rather than viewing accounting as a retrospective function, she focuses on a forward-looking model centered on real-time data, decision support, and CFO-level advisory. She is an active voice in the broader CAS community, regularly contributing to industry roundtables, advisory councils, and conferences, bringing candid, practical perspectives on accounting technology, scaling advisory services, improving client experience, and navigating the realities of modern firm operations. Outside of work, K.C. doesn't sit still, she spends much of her time outdoors playing beach volleyball, soccer, futsal, and pickleball, along with lifting, biking, hiking, and backpacking. A passionate traveler, K.C. prioritizes immersive, often less-traveled international experiences that challenge perspective and foster growth.
