Nancy McClelland
Nancy is a passionate believer that personal relationships, creative solutions, and integrated technology drive small business success – especially in our accounting industry. With her CPA firm, The Dancing Accountant, Nancy has been on a lifelong mission to support small businesses and their communities—as well as educate the professionals who serve them, through her innovative ‘Ask a CPA’ community for bookkeepers. Known for her fun, personal, and direct style, it's no surprise she insists that the future of accounting is built on relationships. Named Top CAS ProAdvisor by Insightful Accountant and Bridging the Gap's Mentor of the Year, she’s also one of Ignition's Top 50 Women in Accounting, Forbes’ Best-In-State CPAs, and AICPA’s Global Women to Watch. An in-demand presenter and educator, Nancy writes an award-winning blog for MSN and co-hosts the "She Counts" podcast. Nancy is true to her name: as a member of “The Fabulous Ladies of Fitness”, performing self-ironic audience dance-along choreographies in clubs, festivals… and on accounting conference mainstages. She taught salsa at Hector Garcia's REFRAME conference, led audience dance-alongs for Financial Cents at WorkflowCon and Tax Wrap Palooza, taught jazzercise and line dancing at the AICPA Women’s Global Leadership Summit, as well as raised money for the Accounting Cornerstone Foundation at the Scaling New Heights Accounting Industry Leader "Dance-Off". Not only can you ‘Ask a CPA’… you can ask the one and only Dancing Accountant!
